Alexandria Get Your Rear in Gear 5K

Join us for the First Annual Alexandria Get Your Rear in Gear 5K Run, Walk and Tony Snow Mile for a Miracle! Join us in a celebration of Tony’s life, meet with friends, families, co-workers and colorectal cancer survivors and help to make an impact and raise awareness of colorectal cancer prevention and treatment. The Elite and Open Mile races will take place in Fort Hunt Park, and the 5K will start in the park and run through Waynewood to a finish back inside the park.

Male Elite Mile: 8:15 a.m.
Female Elite Mile: 8:30 a.m.
Open Mile: 8:45 a.m.
5K Run/Walk: 9:00 a.m.

Pre-Race Day Packet Pickup: PACERS ALEXANDRIA, November 13th, 4pm to 8pm. This is a great way to head to the race ready!
Race Day Pick Up: Fort Hunt Park 6am to 8am
5K Run or Walk Cost: Adults: $25 through November 12; $35 after November 12 and on race day
One Mile Races: Adults: $20 through November 12; $25 after November 12 and on race day
Children age 16 and under: $15 for any event through November 12; $20 after November 12 and on race day
Prizes:ELITE MILE: First, Second and Third Place Male and Female
OPEN MILE: First, Second and Third Place Male and Female
5K Run: First place overall male and female, first place male and female standard age categories

An Official Team is group of 10 or more family, friends, co-workers, classmates, athletes or anyone else you can recruit. Team members can be a combination of walkers, runners and kids. Be creative and make your team really stand out. A Team Kit will be sent to the Team Captain to help you get started or
